Learning remotely

Liverpool Public School is operating as a Level 3 Plus school.

Return to face-to-face learning

Students will be returning to face-to-face learning in stages.

Students in Kindergarten and Year 1 return to face-to-face learning on Monday 18 October 2021.

Students in all other year groups - Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 - return to face-to-face learning on Monday 25 October 2021.

Families with children in multiple year groups are asked to send their children to school according to the timetable.

Parent and carer access to school

Parents and carers are unable to enter school grounds.

The school office will remain closed to enquiries in person.

Parents and carers must use telephone or email to contact the school.

Zoom sessions

Staff will be opening a Zoom room each day for students to ask questions and get feedback on their learning. There will also be dedicated lesson times throughout the day.

Students can access their class Zoom room using the password protected links shared by their teacher. The link is found in the student’s Google Classroom or on the information sheet that was sent home with the learning from home booklets.

Students must log into Zoom using their Department of Education details.

In line with public health orders, the majority of staff are working from home. Please use telephone or email to contact us. Do not come to the front office.

Students can also send a message to their teacher in Google Classroom or ask in their class Zoom room.

Staff may not be able to respond immediately if they are teaching or supporting other students. Emails and telephone calls will be returned within 48 hours during school hours.
