Kindergarten Enrolments Now Open

We are now accepting enrolments for Kindergarten 2026!

Starting school is a major milestone for both children and their families, and at Liverpool Public School, we’re here to make the transition a smooth and positive experience. Our welcoming school community offers a caring and inclusive environment where young learners can begin their educational journey with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.

Kindergarten enrolment interviews

Kindergarten enrolment interviews are held at the end of Term 3 and the start of Term 4. These interviews are important to help us make sure your child is ready to begin school.

Kindergarten Transition Program

Our Kindergarten Transition Program offers a warm and supportive introduction to primary school, helping both children and their families feel confident, comfortable, and ready for the exciting journey into formal education. This carefully planned program helps ease the move from preschool to primary school by introducing students to the school environment, daily routines, and learning expectations.

Kindergarten Transition Sessions

Children attend all three transition sessions, which run from 9:00am to 10:45am on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 4 November 2025
  • Wednesday 12 November 2025
  • Thursday 20 November 2025

During these sessions, children will meet some of our teachers, participate in fun and engaging classroom activities, and begin forming friendships with their peers.

Parent Information Sessions

While children are in their sessions, parents and carers attend our Parent Information Sessions, where they can learn more about our school, meet key staff, and ask questions. Together, these experiences help lay a strong foundation for a smooth and positive start to your child’s educational journey.

Welcome pack

To help families prepare for the start of school, all enrolled families will receive a Welcome Pack in Term 4. This pack contains essential information to ensure a smooth and successful beginning to your child’s schooling journey.
