Student opportunities and activities

Debating

Students have opportunities to develop their critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating. They learn to confidently express and justify their ideas, listen to different perspectives and work collaboratively, with opportunities to participate in local and state debating competitions.

Public Speaking

Students are provided with a range of opportunities to develop their confidence, communication and presentation skills through classroom activities, school events and public speaking competitions. These experiences encourage students to share their ideas, express themselves and speak confidently in front of others.

Creative and Performing Arts – Dance

Our Creative and Performing Arts programs provide students with opportunities to explore their creativity, express themselves and develop their talents. Through dance, music, drama and art, students can showcase their skills in performances, concerts and exhibitions.

Our dance groups are available to students from Kindergarten to Year 6, providing opportunities to build confidence, develop performance skills, work as a team and share their love of dance with the school community.

Creative and Performing Arts - Drama

Our Drama Performance groups provide students with exciting opportunities to develop their confidence, creativity and performance skills. Students can audition and participate in a range of performances throughout the year, showcasing their talents and sharing their love of drama with our school community.

Our drama groups are available to students from Year 3 to Year 6.

Sporting Opportunities

Our school provides a wide range of sporting opportunities for all students to participate, have fun and develop their skills. From football, netball and running to swimming and other activities, there is something for everyone. Sport encourages students to stay active, build confidence, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and make new friends.

Junior and Senior CHoir

Our Junior and Senior Choirs have had a wonderful year. Students have enjoyed singing, performing and developing their confidence and musical skills. We are very proud of their hard work and commitment.

Spelling Bee

Students have the opportunity to participate in the Premier’s Spelling Bee, developing their spelling, vocabulary and language skills in a fun and engaging competition. Students can build confidence, challenge themselves and proudly represent our school at local and state levels.

Trips and Excursions

Our students enjoy a range of exciting trips and excursions that bring learning to life beyond the classroom. These experiences provide opportunities to explore new places, learn through real-world experiences, build independence and confidence, and make lasting memories with their classmates.

Student Representative Council

Our Student Representative Council provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills. SRC members attend the GRIP Leadership Conference, gaining valuable ideas and experiences that help them become confident, responsible and inspiring role models within our school community.
